National law firm Meridian Lawyers continues its strategic growth plans with the appointment of Principal Stephanie Weeks.
Stephanie’s specialised practice focuses on professional indemnity and directors’ and officers’ liability, acting as both defence and coverage counsel on instructions from Australian and London insurers and reinsurers, ASX-listed entities, insurance brokers, and SMEs.
Stephanie has represented clients in a diverse range of disputes, including actions alleging professional negligence, breach of contract, misleading or deceptive conduct, insolvent trading, oppression, wrongful dismissal, and breach of directors’ duties. She has defended professionals from various specialist sectors including insurance brokers, accountants, and solicitors. Her appointment further strengthens Meridian’s insurance law offer to clients and supports Meridian’s commitment to providing clients with exemplary insurance law services.

Stephanie joins Meridian on 29 January 2024 and will be based in Sydney.
Stephanie’s appointment follows Meridian’s recent announcements of Matthew Pokarier, Jacinta Long, Angel Li, and Marcus O’Brien, joining their Principal Group and national insurance team.
