National law firm, Meridian Lawyers, is delighted to announce the appointment of Principal, Drina Govic, to its insurance team. Drina will be based in Meridian’s Victorian office.
Drina has 17 years’ experience managing a range of insurance claims and disputes, including subrogated property damage recoveries, first-party coverage disputes, and fraud/investigations.
Drina is a skilled and client-focused negotiator, whose technical skills, client base, and work type complement and deepen Meridian’s current insurance offering and national insurance expertise.
Commenting on the impending arrival of Drina to the insurance team, Meridian’s Managing Director, Paul Baker, says:

Drina is one of several recent appointments to Meridian’s Victorian office, including Gabrielle Fergus, Senior Associate, whose experience includes managing domestic and commercial recoveries and liability claims, coverage disputes, and fraud/investigations.
The appointment of Drina Govic and Gabrielle Fergus to Meridian’s national insurance team rounds off a busy start to 2023 for Meridian Lawyers with more than 60 new team members joining the firm since April 2023.
