National law firm Meridian Lawyers is delighted to announce the appointment of Principal Benjamin Karalus and Consultant Sally Morshead to its national insurance group.
Principal Benjamin Karalus, a skilled insurance litigator and barrister with more than 18 years’ experience, joins Meridian’s Melbourne office, and will head Meridian’s newly established national Recoveries group. Benjamin’s appointment follows several members of his team joining Meridian in April, in the firm’s latest recruitment spree.
Consultant Sally Morshead joins Meridian with more than 17 years’ insurance law experience focused primarily on complex indemnity issues across the property, professional indemnity, and general liability areas. Sally will be based in the firm’s Sydney office.

Also joining is Consultant, Monique Purcell, in the new role of Client Relationships and Strategy Specialist. Monique brings more than 20 years strategic client management expertise to the business.
News of these appointments, follows Meridian’s recent announcement of fellow senior colleagues joining the firm, from McCabes and formerly Curwoods, including Principals, Matthew McDonald, Paul Garnon, Vid Dragomirovic, Consultant Peter Ford and a total of 30 additional team members.
